My mission is:
“To dedicate my life to educating students with special needs, regardless of background, socioeconomic level, ethnicity, gender, or ability.
To use my creativity, love of life, the arts, and culture to enhance and inspire the lives of my students.
To create a secure, caring, and inspiring classroom environment where each student can become to his/her fullest potential intellectually, socially, emotionally, and physically.
To always have time to listen, help, and provide guidance to my students, enabling them to blossom and flourish.
To continue to grow as a teacher and as a person, taking advantage of professional development opportunities, in order to better serve my students.
To acknowledge the humanity of my students, help them develop a deep love and respect for themselves, others, and their environment. When my students are my age, I want them to be able to look back and remember at least one teacher that truly cared.”
